Dr. Mohammad B. Bagheri is a researcher in the field of thinking who studies how to teach and measure Critical Thinking. He is a graduate of Tehran University of Science and Research and his doctoral dissertation is on The Place of Critical Thinking in the Iranian educational system by providing an educational model for Critical Thinking. In this dissertation, he proposed a working definition of Critical Thinking that can be extended to an educational model.

Dr. Bagheri has been working academically on the subject of Critical Thinking since 2010, because he considers it as one of the most serious issues needed by human societies, especially the Iranian society. In addition to teaching and research activities, he makes a special effort to acquaint the public with the teachings of Critical Thinking, because he believes that the teachings of CT should not be limited to academia.

Dr Bagheri has been invited repeatedly to speak at the “International Conference on Critical Thinking and educational reform” which has been held in the US since 1980. He has published articles on CT in international journals. As a researcher, he has been giving monthly lectures at UCLA Health since August, 2021.

Dr. Bagheri conducts online Critical Thinking workshops and has started an online course of Thinking Skills on Ayeneh TV which is broadcast every Monday 10 am PST.
